Masters Swim Coach
Previous coaching experience with an emphasis on Masters groups is required. This part time position includes, but is not limited to, providing high level structured workouts to adult Masters swimmers, giving stroke correction and technique training to adult Masters groups of 15-30 participants, ensuring a safe swimming environment for all involved in the program, creating an adult swimming community, providing excellent customer service and working with other coaches to maintain and improve existing high quality Masters programs. Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Highlands Ranch Community Association is looking for a confident, motivated professional to work directly with participants of all ages and abilities. This part time position requires knowledge of Therapeutic Recreation programs including personal instruction and group classes designed to enhance skills and well-being. Knowledge of adapted programming in the water and on land is essential. Must be people-oriented, flexible and customer service focused. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited four-year college or university, NCTRC certified, possess current American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid/CPR certification or obtain in 30 days, and able to acquire lifeguard certification. Must also have a minimum of 6 months experience working with special populations in a TR environment. Must have experience or demonstrated skills in aquatics. Experience with children and working with volunteers preferred.
- Serve as a liaison between the TR Coordinator and families served through the Therapeutic Recreation program.
- Work flexible hours which includes some weekend and evening hours.
- Provide administrative support and direct service to clientele and properly teach weekly group programs.
- Assist the TR Coordinator with the daily operations of the Therapeutic Recreation program area for HRCA. Enforce all HRCA policies and procedures.

Assistant Preschool Director
The Highlands Ranch Community Association is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Preschool Director who will perform a variety of duties associated with the operation and administration of the Preschool Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing Department of Human Services Rules and Regulations and ensuring our Preschool’s compliance with such regulations, overseeing staff files, training, development, children’s files, classroom management, curriculum development, communication with parents and helping facilitate our full day preschool and enrichment program. The role also includes defining, developing, implementing and managing new and innovative approaches to the preschool program, while providing direct service, addressing customer service needs and collaborating with others to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities also include the co-supervision of the part time teachers. This position requires flexible working hours that on occasion include evenings and weekends. The candidate must possess the ability to organize, manage and direct multiple projects and tasks at a time. Preschool Teacher
The HRCA Youth Department has an opening for a part-time Preschool/Enrichment Teacher. Hours vary depending on our AM or PM program needs but will range from 8:30am-5:30pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching a comprehensive curriculum for children ages 2 ½ - 6 that assist students in developing their cognitive, social/emotional, linguistic and motor skills. Our afternoon program includes Music, Story or Books, and Arts or Crafts projects, swimming and other activities that correspond to weekly themes. Implementing weekly lesson plans, assist in maintaining and arranging the appearance of the room following Human Services guidelines, assist in preparing supply lists, attend monthly staff meetings, demonstrate excellent public relations and customer service skills when communicating verbally and in writing with participants, parents, and other staff and has a soft and gentle, warm demeanor working with children are requirements of the position. Teachers are required to obtain 15 hours of continuing education a year. Summer Camp Leader
The HRCA Youth Department has openings for part-time seasonal Summer Camp Leaders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading groups of school age children in various recreational and educational activities, supervising groups and facilitating their daily schedules, monitoring children in the pool and on excursions, interacting with children, parents and staff in a professional manner and ensuring Human Services Rules and Regulations are being followed.

- Two years of college training and three months (480 hours) of verifiable experience working with four or more school age children.
