We believe that Highlands Ranch would be the prefect location for Google to test the new broadband network. Highlands Ranch is a 22,000 acre master-planned community of 30,000 homes and nearly 100,000 individuals, and ranks as one of the top 20 master planned communities in the country.

Our community is unique in structure, accessible to mass transit, rich in history and cultural opportunities, varied in retail, homebased and commercial businesses, and has top-notch schools and exceptional recreational facilities, parks and trails. Highlands Ranch could be a shining example of how a unincorporated community can come together to create and build a tremendous new amenity for our community.

The community is unique in its governance structure, and at 30 years old it is an example how community partnerships can build a community.  Highlands Ranch is an unincorporated community governed by the county commissioners and the Highlands Ranch Community Association and the Metro District of Highlands.
