Wildcat Mountain 5/10/20 Mile Run

Check out the Video of the Wildcat Mountain 2010 Race.

This race is starting and finishing at the Douglas County Trail Head just south of Rocky Heights Middle School. The course is well suited for all ability levels and is mostly dirt and single track. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Course will be well marked. Use caution during first 5 miles because there might be some overlap of runners on single track. After the race, plan to stick around for giveaways and great prizes.

The Wildcat Mountain 5 /10/20 mile trail run is a 100% natural surface trail run on Douglas County and Highlands Ranch Community Association Trails.  All distances offer magnificent views of the Front Range from Longs Peak to Pikes Peak as well as Denver and the entire Metro Area.

The 10 mile route takes you through a mosaic of scrub oak and grasslands where deer and elk are common.  There is a nice, but not too extreme altitude gain and loss through the course.  Most of the course offers subtle elevation changes. The 20 mile course utilizes the 10 mile course along with a 5 mile out and back which emcompasses The Bluffs Regional Park.

We race rain or shine!
