2012 HRCA Mountain Biking Race Series (all ages)
NEW for 2012, due to popular demand the Mountain Bike Races have moved to Saturdays.
Come check out the newly expanded Mountain Bike events, this year we will be hosting 6 races spread throughout the year. There will be two races in the Spring, two in the Summer, and two more in the Fall. If you are interested in volunteering at these events please contact carey.haller@hrcaonline.org. 2012 Races:
All Races start at 8am!
Time Trial 5/12/12: Everyone will do one lap. Riders sent out every 30 seconds. Approx. time 30-45 minutes. Start/finish is up the dirt trail behind Mtn Vista. West of Red Tail park.
Circuit Race 5/26/12: JV riders two laps, varsity and adult riders three. Race time an hour to hour and a half. 10 minutes between groups. Start/finish is up the dirt trail behind Mountain Vista (west of Red Tail park).
Cross Country Race 7/14/12: Everyone will do same course. Send groups off every 5 or 10 minutes. Race time 1.5 - 2 hours. Start is up the dirt trail behind Mountain Vista High School (west of Red Tail Park). Finish is at Rocky Heights Middle School. (If you park at Mountain Vista, you will need to arrange transportation back to your vehicle)
Bluff's Circuit Race 7/28/12: All riders will do 4 loops. Race time 45 min -1 hour 15 min. Please park at Rock Canyon High School and bike to the start on the Bluffs Regional trail. Please follow cones to get to the start.
To get to the start/finish line you can either ride the DouglasCounty trail heading east and then north or take Monarch Blvd and McArthur Ranch Road to the trail head. Please arrive with plenty of time to find your way to the start line.

No Refunds will be available, races will be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather
All proceeds will benefit the Rock Canyon's TSA chapter. .
Registration avaliable through Prerace.com. You may also register at any of the HRCA Recreation Centers or by mailing in the registration form with payment. Early registration closes at noon the day before the race. Registration is available on race day at the race site. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to register.
$30 for early registration for adults / $15 for High School Students
$35 for race day for adults / $20 for High School Students
$130 for the entire series
