Details for Martial Art Classes

Waivers
Waivers can be completed at the time of registration at any Recreation Center or downloaded from the waivers page.

Uniforms
Uniforms can be purchased at the facility pro shop where classes are being held. However, have your child try a class or two before investing in the uniform. Comfortable shorts or sweat pants and a tee-shirt are acceptable when starting classes.

Pro-Rated Pricing
HRCA does not pro-rate Martial Arts classes for any reason. In the event of bad weather, the Fitness Coordinator will contact participants by using class rosters as soon as possible if classes are to be cancelled. There are no refunds for inclement weather.

Refunds and Transfers
Requested refunds for classes are charged a $4.00 processing fee. However, if a class fails to meet the minimum required number of participants and a cancelled class results, you can choose to transfer to the next month or receive a full refund of your money.

Waivers
Each Martial Arts participant/parent or guardian is required to sign a waiver. If registering online, please check the “I agree” box before proceeding with registration. If registering by phone, mail or in person, a sign waiver must be submitted. Usually, your instructor will have one in class for parents to sign.
