Yoga

In yoga classes, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. HRCA is proud to offer a wide variety of yoga classes and styles. 

Yoga Class Descriptions

Heated Yoga Flow: This is a moderate to strenuous yoga class which links movement and breath.   This practice is designed to increase flexibility, balance, strength and, endurance. Prior yoga experience is helpful.  Expect warmer temperatures in the 80-90 degree range.

Hatha Yoga: A traditional style yoga class great for stretching and toning muscles. All ages, conditions, and abilities welcome. No experience necessary.

Gentle Yoga: Gentle Yoga incorporates stretching and stress reduction, improving tone and balance. All ages, conditions, and abilities welcome. No experience necessary.

Power Yoga: Flowing yoga that links all postures with breathing. Helps to develop flexibility, strength, and endurance. This class moves at a faster pace. Prior yoga experience in recommended. 

Align and Flow: Align and Flow is an alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Classes often take time to break down key movements/poses and progressively build towards more complex poses. This practice emphasizes and promotes strength, flexibility, and refined body awareness. All levels are welcome but prior yoga experience is helpful.

Yoga Sculpt: A combination of vinyasa yoga and strength training. Yoga sculpt utilizes weights to build long, lean muscles while increasing flexibility and boosting metabolism. This class moves at a faster pace. Prior yoga experience in recommended. 

Candlelight Yin Yoga: Yoga designed to help you relax, sleep better, and let go of your stress. Join this quiet, slow practice to stretch muscles, release tension and relax. Leave ready to sleep better! No experience necessary.
