Computer/Electronics Recycling
Properly and safely dispose of old electronic components that contain materials that are very harmful to our environment. Get rid of all that old computer clutter and do your part for a clean, safe environment!
TVs $20 small, $40 large; The Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA) is hosting its annual Computer & Electronics Recycling event for you to safely and responsibly recycle the following types of electronic equipment:
- Computers
- Monitors
- Keyboards
- Fax Machines
- Telephones
- Cell Phones
- Radios
- Auto Electronics

- Palm Pilots
- Computer Mice
- Laptops
- Stereos
- Televisions-$40 large/$20 small

There is a suggested donation of $20 benefiting the Highlands Ranch Community Scholarship Fund or the Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association will be accepted.
The HRCA has contracted with Techno Rescue Recycling for this event. For specific recycling questions call Nidal Allis, president of Techno Rescue Recycling at 303 482-2207. For general event information call 303-791-2500.
Paper Shredding - 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
When it comes to protecting the environment and your family's confidential information, XpresShred treats it with the utmost care. With on-site shredding, your sensitive documents are completely destroyed providing customers with the highest level of security. Limit of three copy paper-sized boxes of residential, confidential paper to be shredded. Suggested donation of $10 to benefit the Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association. Residential only -
What to Shred?
- Documents with personal information such as your social security number
- Junk mail fore credit card offers
- Documents with personal information about your medical history
What NOT to Shred
- Receipts that do not show your complete credit card number
- Do not include phone books, file folders and binders.
Most JUNK MAIL does NOT need to be shredded! Shredding documents costs money, consumes time and energy, and decreases the value of the paper. Shredding is great for protecting your sensitive documents and your identity but shredding should not be used for non-sensitive documents.
NO COMMERCIAL PAPER, TRASH, PHONE BOOKS, MAGAZINES, NEWSPAPERS.
