The Backcountry Wilderness Area Hunt Raffles offer the chance to win a world-class hunting opportunity with just the cost of a $25 raffle ticket. Each of our Raffle Hunts is a Buddy Hunt (two hunters). Purchasing tickets to Raffle Hunts are open to the public. If the purchaser is a Non-HRCA Member, they must designate an eligible HRCA Member as their Hunt Buddy at time of purchase.

  1.  Dates:
    • Spring Raffle: February 9 - March 3
    • Summer Raffle: June 18 - July 9
  2. All ticket sales will be online. There will be no in-person ticket sales.  
  3. There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets an individual may purchase.
  4. There are no refunds under any circumstances.
  5. If you are not an HRCA member, you MUST enter an HRCA member as your buddy during checkout.
  6. Read all of the Raffle Rules on the Raffle Website.
  7. Read all of the Hunt Rules

The Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund Auction gives HRCA members the opportunity to bid on exclusive hunts and unique experiences. You must be an HRCA member to bid on any Backcountry Wilderness Area hunt. All other experiences and items are open to the general public.

  1. Registration opens February 9
  2. Auction opens March 3
  3. Auction closes March 5 at 7:00 p.m.
  4. The Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund Auction is open to the public. Only HRCA Members can bid on and win the Backcountry Wilderness Area hunts (Bull Elk Archery, Buddy Cow, Coyote, & Turkey). If you are not an HRCA member and bid on the HRCA Member-restricted hunts, the bid will be disqualified and access to the Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund Auction will be revoked.
  5. There will be no refunds under any circumstance.
  6. Your winning bid is a binding agreement. 
    Payment for winning bids must be received by March 9 at 5 pm. You will be contacted to make your auction bid payment.

The Hunt Drawings are open to HRCA Members including HRCA Member youth. The drawings are free to enter.

TO REGISTER ONLINE:

Make sure your online login to www.hrcaonline.org is ready to go with your username and password. Once on the website, click on “Activity Log In” at the top of the page. Enter your username and password. You can call 303-791-2500 if you have login troubles.

Once you are logged in…
  1. Click on the “Registration” button at the top of the page. 
  2. Under “Backcountry Programs” click on “Hunts and Outfitting Services”
  3. Under “Hunt Lottery” view the list of all drawings
  4. Register for the appropriate drawings
  5. Click on the “registration” button at the top of the page each time to view the list of all drawings and sign up for additional drawings.
  6. Once you have registered for all of the drawings, proceed to checkout “Place my order.”

TO REGISTER IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE: 

  1. Call or show up at any of our member services desks during business hours at our recreation centers. 
  2. Phone: 303-791-2500
  3. Tell the staff you would like to sign up for the Backcountry Hunt Drawings that can be found under "Hunts and Outfitting Services."
