Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days: Join us at the Highlands Ranch Mansion on September 8 - 10, when the old west comes to life at Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days! This event offers a variety of hands-on educational opportunities that are perfect to get children engaged with local history! Explore everything from fur trapping and exploring what pelts settlers used for trade to gold panning where you'll get to try panning for gold yourself!
This event will also feature horse-drawn hayrides, history exhibits, and plenty of other fun activities! Guests can expect performances by Native Americans, banjo music, and a raptor program from Nature's Educators. Make sure to take a break on the lawn of the Mansion to enjoy freshly made Indian Fry Bread and honey. There is so much to explore and learn from this interactive annual event!
