Administrative Staff

Director

Ms. Tammi
My name is Tammi Howard and I am the Director of Westridge Preschool. This is my 5th year at Westridge but, I have been in education all of my life. I feel that Early Childhood Education is so important and that it is the foundation that children need to get them ready for school. I have been a teacher, an Assistant Director and now a Director. I just love children and enjoy being in the classroom when I can to help support the students, parents, and teachers. I am a real city girl who is from downtown Chicago. I am married and I have a son that is in High School. I love to go running, go for walks, bike ride, take Nia and love Yoga. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.

Ms. Jamie
I am the Director of the Eastridge Preschool. I have been with HRCA for 12 years. I began my journey in education as an Elementary Teacher. I have a firm belief that Preschool is the place to teach children how to learn. I am married with 4 children and 3 grandchildren. I am Colorado born and raised. In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my family.


Sub Director

Ms. Heather
Hello my name is Heather Goetz-Zettl I am the Education Coordinator/Sub Director for HRCA. I love living in Colorado with my husband, two beautiful daughters, and Louie (our doggie). I love spending time outdoors. My favorite season is summer. You can find me during this time with my entire family in Grand Lake enjoying hiking and boating.

Ms. Angela
Welcome to Preschool! My name is Ms. Angela and I am the Administrative Coordinator for the Art and Education Department. I keep the wheels on the bus rolling. I have worked with children for 25+ years. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband, two adult girls and handsome little grandson.


Preschool Facilitator

Ms. Natalie
Hi, my name is Ms. Natalie. I am married with four beautiful children and a granddaughter that I love hanging out with in the mountains and at home.

I have worked with children most of my adult life, 22 years as a piano teacher and the past 10 years teaching Pre-k here at Eastridge. This year my role at HRCA preschool will change as I will have the opportunity of working on the administration side, supporting the needs of our children, teachers and parents. I will also be piloting a new music program for all students attending our Eastridge facility that will hopefully extend into the Westridge program as well. I am looking forward to a fantastic year.


Enrichment Facilitator

Ms. Amanda
My name is Amanda and I am the Enrichment Facilitator here at Eastridge. I am so excited to be able to bring back some of our extracurricular activities. This includes swimming, pottery and hopefully a few others. In addition to the extracurricular activities, we have a different theme weekly. We will be including cooking in our weekly themes.

Buttercups

Ms. Shelby 
Hi! My name is Shelby and I’m so excited to be part of the Eastridge family! I started as a substitute teacher last Spring and fell in love with this program. I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.
After taking a break from teaching to stay home with my children, I’m looking forward to being back in the classroom with your kiddos.
My husband and I both grew up in Indiana and have been in Colorado since 2007. Colorado is now “home” and we love exploring this great state. We have two children, Harrison and Cora. On the weekends our family can be found paddleboarding, running to and from soccer games and enjoying time together.

Ms. Shania 
My name is Shania. I have two years in teaching, eight years in a volunteer firefighter and two years in EMS. I am excited for this new school year and working with Ms. Tami in the Buttercups class.

 


Ms. Amalia
Hi! My name is Mrs. Amalia Howell. I will be a Blue Bells teacher for the 2021-2022 school year! This will be my second year working in the HRCA Preschool! I am excited to begin our year together!
 


Sweet Peas

Ms. Melissa
I have been teaching the Sweet Peas class for over 8 years. I received my BA in Child Psychology from California State University in 1991. When not in the classroom encouraging the social, emotional and cognitive development of the toddlers, I enjoy spending time playing piano and tennis, working out at Orange Theory Fitness and hiking with my 3 (almost) grown children and Golden Retriever, Milo.


Ms. Naomi
I have worked for the HRCA Preschool since 2013. I have spent the majority of that time teaching in the toddler Sweet Peas room. I enjoy enriching young minds and developing strong lasting relationships with families. In my spare time I enjoy travel with my family, hiking, jeeping and traveling.


Ms. Ashley
I have been working in ECE since I was 16. Also went to school for medical assisting and worked in pediatrics. Mother to a 14-year-old daughter. My hobbies include crafting, reading, hanging out with friends. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids and watching their growth and develop into their own little personalities.

Bluebells

Ms. Taylor
Hello, my name is Taylor. I am going on my fourth year at HRCA. I had previously been in the one-year-old Buttercups class. This year I will be starting up our new Blue Bells class, as lead teacher.

I recently got married last summer. I have a four-year-old daughter, who is so spunky, fun and adventurous. My family are typical Coloradoans who love and take advantage of all things outdoors. I am excited and look forward to what this year will bring.

Shooting Stars

Ms. Barbara
I have been working at HRCA as a Preschool teacher for going on 15 years! I strive to create a classroom where the children learn in a fun, safe environment. I enjoy making new crafts and learning games for my students. When not teaching, I love reading, baking, and decorating cakes and sharing them with my husband, our five adult children and two young grandchildren!

Ms. SueAnne
Hi! I am excited to be joining the HRCA staff as a Preschool Teacher in the Shooting Stars class. I bring many years of experience working with early learners and look forward to working with your child. I recently moved to Highlands Ranch from Littleton with my husband to be closer to our adult children and their families. I love Colorado and all the beautiful places it offers and I am fortunate to have been born and raised here. I’m excited to be part of this new community.
 

Ms. Dina
Hello, my name is Ms. Dina. I will be working with the Shooting Stars class with Ms. Barbara and Ms. SueAnne. I’m excited to get to know your children and serve them at the HRCA Preschool. I have worked for 15 years with children in the Midwest. My family brought me to this wonderful Colorado state. My husband and I have four children. I love to cook and keep learning new things.

Tiny Turtles & Guppies


Ms. Maddie
Hello and welcome! I will be teaching the Tiny Turtles and the Guppies. I have been working at HRCA for almost 4 years. When I’m not here, I like to rock climb, ski and spend time with family. I can’t wait to grow with you all this year.



Ms. Maria
Hello, My name is Maria Elena Craig. I am from Colombia and I speak Spanish. I have been in Colorado since October 2012. I have been working in WR for more than 3 and a half years in the Nursery and in the Preschool and I love working with kids. My goal with your kids is teaching them basic Spanish words like their colors, how to count from 1 to 10, reading stories and singing songs. My very favorite hobby is quilting. I am looking forward to an amazing year with your children.

Ms. Sammie
I have been an Early Childhood Educator since 2009. I love my work and kids and cannot wait to spend the year learning and growing together. In my free time, I love to travel, garden, hike, and cook with my family.




Ms. Kim
I am going into my second year at the HRCA Preschool program. I have worked in childcare for the past four years. I am a mother of one little boy with one on the way! I am looking forward to another fun and exciting school year! 


Daisies


Ms. Alyssa
I enjoy working with children, I previously taught at the elementary level for several years and now I am a Daisies teacher. I love spending time with my family, I have twin girls that keep me very busy! This year I’m excited to return and be a part of the HRCA school program.
 


Ms. Kristy
I am so excited to be co-teaching the Daisies class this year! My experience includes working with children in preschool settings, tutoring and substitute teaching. I have my B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development and I am currently working on my M.A. in counseling. I am excited to be supporting your child’s social, emotional and cognitive development this school year!


Ladybugs

Ms. Alison
Hello, my name is Ms. Alison, I have worked at Westridge HRCA for the past 15 years teaching preschool. I enjoy swimming, reading, and walking. I love to cook and some of my favorite food is Italian, French, Indian and Mexican. Also, there is nothing better than sitting around the table sharing a home-cooked meal and good conversation with my family. I am excited to be the lead teacher for your child and to have fun-filled learning experience with each child.

Ms. Weibke
My name is Wiebke Haertwig, I have been working at HRCA for 14 years and I have been teaching preschool and pre-k with Alison for 9 years. I really enjoy teaching at HRCA. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the US over 25 years ago. I have two children and one tortoise. I like to go running and hiking, I also love to bake and cook as well as reading and crafting. I also will work Enrichment in the afternoon.


Sunflowers

Ms. Nicky
My name is Ms. Nicky and I teach the Sunflowers Pre-K class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. I have been with the HRCA for 11 years. In addition to teaching at the Eastridge preschool, I work with children and adults with disabilities through the Therapeutic Recreation Program and teach a weekly exercise class for seniors. My husband and I have a daughter and a son who are students at CU Boulder. I was born in England and moved to Ohio in my early 20s. Our family has lived in Colorado for 13 years and we love spending our spare time in the mountains, skiing, hiking, kayaking, and camping.

My favorite books include The Giving Tree, anything Eric Carle and The Book with no Pictures. I enjoy crafting, watching football games and hanging at home with my family and friends. Being from South Florida, I love the beach and playing in the sand. I am looking forward to another amazing year here at HRCA.


Honeysuckles

Pya Ram  
I have been with the HRCA Preschool program since 2015. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in physics and a Master’s degree in Psychology. My core subjects include developmental psychology, family counseling and early education. I have lived in Colorado with my husband and 2 girls since 2008. In my spare time I am a serial hobby-hopper. My hobbies include photography, sewing, stargazing, woodworking, crafting and more recently playing the ukulele. I am excited to bring a fun and nourishing environment for your children with all the crafts and fun activities I have planned for them all year long.

Ms. Ava
Hello! I am a 2021 graduate and will be taking a gap year this school year. I started working with HRCA in the Summer Camp program this past summer. I am going to be helping with the children who ride the bus, lunches, and the Enrichment program. I am very excited for this school year!


Ms. Sydney
Hello, my name is Ms. Sydney, I have been working with HRCA for 3 ½ years now, I started out as a Day Camp Leader for the summer. I am now working at HRCA Eastridge for the Preschool as a teacher’s Aide. I graduated from high school 4 years ago and have a twin brother. When I’m not here I enjoy hiking, walking and cooking.
