Fence Stain/Color FAQs

The physical appearance of a community is the first opportunity to make a positive impression and well kept streets, yards, and fences all promote a vision of community health, pride and vitality. Further, a clean and aesthetically pleasing neighborhood increases property values. To keep Highlands Ranch looking its best the fences need to be stained and maintained.

What if I live in a sub-association?

If your home is in a sub-association, please check with your local guidelines as many sub-associations have their own allowable paint and stain colors. Over time, sub-associations will be urged to adopt the same stain color for their wood fencing if appropriate.
