Opt-in Trash Provider

The HRCA has partnered with Waste Connections to be our Opt-in provider for trash services in Highlands Ranch. You can opt-in for trash and recycling services and get a discounted rate. We all benefit! Waste Connections provides vital services for the HRCA in giving us free trash services for all our community events and for all our recreation centers, which saves our community tens of thousands of dollars and helps support our organizations mission of enhancing our quality of life in Highlands Ranch. Trash Opt-in Provider

HRCA has partnered with Waste Connections as our Opt-in community's trash service provider. This valuable service benefits our community and residents. For any issues or questions contact Waste Connections directly at: 303-288-2100 or [email protected].

The benefits:

Lower monthly fees
Reduce truck traffic to one day per week making our streets safer
Reduce emissions and wear and tear on streets
Provide single-stream recycling throughout our community
Does not apply to sub-associations that currently have consolidated trash service

The Opt-in program with Waste Connections includes:

Voluntary opt-in for Highlands Ranch homeowners
Curb side pick up of maximun of two trash containers and three bags of household garbage.

One day per week trash is picked up in each of five service zones Google Map in Highlands Ranch.
Optional 96 gallon trash carts or recycle carts are available for a refundable $75.00 deposit - please contact Waste Connections at 303-288-2100 or [email protected] for more information.

FAQs About Opt-in Trash Provider

Is this program mandatory?

No, you may continue to use your current provider. However, you must have your trash picked up on the day assigned for your zone no matter which provider you use.

Waste Connections Users, Note: only two trash containers and a maximun of three (3) additional bags of household trash may be placed on your curb for regular pick up. No bulk items will be removed at this time. Please call for special pick up of more than normal trash. More info

We are working diligently to provide a clean, safe environment for you, but with all things related to COVID-19 there is inherent risk. It is up to you to choose to use the HRCA amenities, knowing that you assume risk when gathering with other people and visiting other facilities.
