Important Dates for the Upcoming 2012 Summer Swim Season
These three dates are the first steps to get involved in summer swim team, so put them in your calendars and we will see you there!
Parent Information Meeting Thursday March 22, 2012 6:00pm at Eastridge Rec Center
This meeting is for both new and returning parents. We will go over information for both MHSL and CARA teams that evening. We will be using a new software system this season to sign up for swim meets and parent volunteer shifts, and will be going over how to use this system at the meeting. It is strongly suggested that ALL parents attend this meeting.
Returning Swimmer Registration Saturday April 21, 2012 8:00-10:00am at Northridge Rec Center
This registration date is for all swimmers who have been on the team previously and all swimmers who have participated in our winter coached aquatics programs (Seahawks Drill Academy, Seahawks Conditioning Camp, and Seahawks Elite). At this registration you will fill out paperwork, order equipment, and pay for the program.
New Swimmer Tryouts and Registration Saturday April 28, 2012 7:00-10:00am at Northridge Rec Center
This registration date is for all new swimmers to coached aquatics. There will be a tryout of 50 freestyle and 50 backstroke to make sure swimmers are ready for swim team. There will be limited spots on the teams at this registration date so please come early as we take swimmers on a first come first serve basis.
SUMMER SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION CLOSES ON THURSDAY MAY 3, 2012
Mountain High Swim League (MHSL)
Swimmers compete by age group in the A division from May to July in this competitive program.
Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA)
Swimmers compete by age group from May-July in a rec league. No scores are kept and everyone receives a ribbon. This is the less competative swim program.
