Consistently Scheduled Volunteers

The mission of the Backcountry Wilderness Area can not be achieved without the help from our wonderful volunteers. We're looking for individuals who want to have a hands-on impact on conservation, environmental education, and responsible outdoor recreation within their community. Although our volunteer opportunities aren't in exchange for freebies or special access, this opportunity provides people with a way to give back to our local wild place. The Backcountry Wilderness Area offers a variety of opportunities for people to get involved whether it be helping with facility maintenance, cleaning horse or fellow farm animal pens, or even walking our goats. With so many different opportunities to get involved, we know there’s something for any volunteer at the Backcountry Wilderness Area.
