Camp Backcountry - Registration Information

If you are encountering any trouble while trying to register online, please give our member services team a call at 303-471-7020. They will be able to fix any issues on your account, take payment information, and make sure your child is registered in a timely manner.


Our camps are licensed by the state. Our licensing requires that we collect medical and emergency information for your child. We use a company called ePACT to collect this information electronically. ePACT uses the same encryption as online banking, so you can rest assured your child’s information is safe.

You will be getting an invitation to complete this paperwork directly from ePACT. Please be on the lookout for that in the near future and complete it as soon as you receive it. Your child will not be allowed at Camp Backcountry without this completed information, so we encourage you to get started on this right away. Please note, you must upload your child’s up-to-date immunization records for them to attend Camp Backcountry. We suggest getting a copy of those records now to avoid stress closer to camp.

All paperwork is due one week prior to your child’s camp session. You will receive weekly reminders to complete your paperwork until it is done. To avoid these reminders, we encourage you to complete it right away. For questions or help regarding paperwork, please contact the Camp Director at [email protected].


If a session that you are interested in is full, you may register for the waitlist at no cost. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you. We will hold waitlist spots for three days after we contact you. Payment must be received in full within those three days in order to reserve your campers’ spot. After three days, if we have not heard back from you or if payment is not received, the spot will be forfeited and will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made through April 30th will be eligible for a full refund, less a $5 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made after April 30th and up to 7 days prior to the camp session start will be eligible for a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of a camp session’s start will not be granted a refund.
  • Transfer requests will be granted up to two weeks prior to the start date of your registered session, pending availability. All transfers must be made to another Camp Backcountry session in 2022. 
  • Parents wishing to cancel a child from camp should provide written notification via email to the Camp Director.* You must include your child’s full name, your child’s age, and the dates and name of the camp session you wish to cancel. 
  • No exceptions.
